There is actually a problem with FileZilla's 32 bit builds. One of the major features I loved about FileZilla on x86 is that it could "drag out" -- download a file from a remote FTP site by simply dragging it from the remote FTP site to any explorer window. In the x64 version of windows, explorer.exe is a 64-bit application, which is inaccessible to 32-bit binaries. Therefore, this functionality is broken. I receive a cannot find folder path error, and FileZilla suggests that I didn't actually drag into an explorer window -- which I did, of course.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, RTM (7600.16385). I received the Windows 7 RTM bits directly from a Microsoft, as I am a TechNet Plus subscriber (in case anyone wanted to argue that I may not have the real RTM version and that may be part of the problem).

Re: x64 Trouble
Has this changed since Vista?
I'm running Vista x64, with a 64-bit explorer.exe, and I can drag things from FileZilla to my desktop, or to a folder window.

Re: x64 Trouble
Reboot did it. I have a laptop.. I more frequently just put it to sleep. Does setup tell you you have to reboot in order for that to work? If so, my apologies. I just installed it and expected it to rock, but to be fair, I didn't fully read the dialogs. (Most don't).
