programmatically control filezilla

#1 Post by nascent » 2009-12-21 22:56

Hi there,

I live in a shared house and to be a nice guy only download from an ftp server when my housemate's are offline. I coded a little app to monitor the lan and inform me when i am the only person connected or not.

This works great for when I am there to see it, but I try to do my downloading at night, when everyone's asleep.

I'd like to set up my program to pause/resume queued transfers programmatically. As far as I can tell there's no API nor start/stop commandline functionality.

Is this possible in any way with filezilla? even if it means writing to a file that filezilla watches and reads from, I'd love some way to do this.

I did check around other clients -just incase- but found nothing that offered anything that would help me. besides I love filezilla and would hate to change.
