Feature Request: WebDAV support

#1 Post by goethi » 2005-10-26 18:12

Today I spent several hours on searching for a good WebDAV client for Windows (the Explorer integration is very bad). I found one which is good but not free (Bitkinex) and some which are free but not good (at least not for me because I like an easy-to-use GUI). Is it possible to integrate support for WebDAV into Filezilla?

Searching before posting is a good idea :)

According to the topic mentioned below, Botg thinks webdav would be a "nice addition" for FileZilla3 (next major version, a complete rewrite), but it has low priority.

this seems to be still true. i was looking for one myself. and the only one (out of two or three for windows) working flawlessly with my gmx account was bitkinex.
i would really appriciate this feature. and a few more users would choose filezilla, because of no competition ;).
i would.
thanks for listening.

try Novell NetDrive. it's free and it maps a webdav site to a drive letter. search for google.
bye
