Mac Nightly?

#1 Post by zelet » 2006-04-07 14:40

Is there any way of getting a Mac nightly? I would offer to help build it - but I just don't have the time, ability, or time to obtain the ability to do it. I will test and report bugs however in my day-to-day usage.

Thanks for the help.

What I'm missing to provide Mac nightlies is access to a Mac system.

What if I give you access to my Mac (though it is an intel mac) via SSH? Would that help?

That would be great. It shouldn't matter that it's an Intel Mac, building universal binaries which run on both architectures should work.

Please mail the account details to tim.kosse@filezilla-project.org

The requirements to build FileZilla:
- SSH access
- Working compiler toolchain
- GNU make
- automake 1.9, autoconf 2.59, libtool 1.4 or newer
- GNU gettext
- libidn

Last time I tried it I ran out of diskspace during compilation which was painfully slow. And since last year the CF status page says "Offline - Unplanned Downtime In-Progress" for the OSX systems.

Nightly mac builds are now available for those that haven't noticed it:
