Please consider adding one more 'sticky' setting in the connections manager window that activates directory comparison when the connection is completed just like Synchronized Browser is sticky when the connection is completed.
(I have attached a proposed image for how the connections manager window would appear with the option in-place.)
This would be functionally equivalent to selecting a connection from the list, clicking connect, then clicking the 'Directory Comparison' toolbar icon (or Control-O hotkey).
I believe this will provide for a smoother user experience (when applied) for people that want to perform a re-sync operation when they initiate FTP connection.
