New feature suggestion

#1 Post by locked » 2013-08-02 02:43

A new feature that I would like to see in Filezilla is the ability to search for a specific file, or search for the first few characters in a file name within each of the two directory windows.

This search feature could possibly be located on the title bar, adjacent to the Filename title. Or it could alternatively be displayed in the areas displayed immediately below each of the two diretory list windows.

Then as the first characters of a file name are entered into the , the relevant file name would be displayed and highlighted within the file list.

This would be a great help in quickly locating specific files within large website directories.

Pressing the first character already jumps to files starting with that character.

We have been using FileZilla at Web Design York and it works perfectly every time, even when the new updates are available
