A horribly low 2% of all visitors on filezilla-project.org use IPv6. This makes me very sad

Maybe on April 1st I'll make it IPv6-only for one day. And the joke is the part about the one day

The sad part is it mainly has to be adopted by providers and device distributors. Many users don't know or care what it is, others fail with non-compliant hardware.
Maybe you should redirect to http://filezilla-project.org.ipv6.sixxs.org. But, as a man-in-the-middle, it doesn't support SSL for obvious reasons.
