IPv6 adoption

#1 Post by botg » 2014-01-17 23:31

A horribly low 2% of all visitors on filezilla-project.org use IPv6. This makes me very sad :(

I do, although I still have to use 6to4 (are you listening, Telekom?).

Make it IPv6-only for a day.

Maybe on April 1st I'll make it IPv6-only for one day. And the joke is the part about the one day :)

The sad part is it mainly has to be adopted by providers and device distributors. Many users don't know or care what it is, others fail with non-compliant hardware.

Maybe you should redirect to http://filezilla-project.org.ipv6.sixxs.org. But, as a man-in-the-middle, it doesn't support SSL for obvious reasons.
