Client Feature request: Auto Save download queue even after restart

#1 Post by francois3 » 2015-07-08 06:27

Hi Everyone,

First , many thanks for to all developers for all those works done in this nice software.

Client feauture request:
Would be nice , for exemple in case of power-line-cut or reboot, to auto-restart FZ and not having need to reload/import dl queue...
Also, would be nice to have an option in param's to cross a box: Auto Restart FZ at next power up or reboot
So, FZ will continue always to DL no matter what's happend... until queue is done.

Many thanks in advance
francois

As long as FileZilla is running, queue exists only in RAM. This is done for performance. Queue is saved to disk at graceful exit of FileZilla, but not when crashing. Equally, it might not be saved when forced by OS shutdown.

Hi

Even if I close FileZilla properly, the Queue is NOT saved. Any resolution?

Am I making any mistake?

Thanks
Murugan
