Sync files to save download time

I have 250,000 files with 35GB of data on my server within thousands of nested directories and once a week I want to bring a copy to my home computer. The vast majority of those files don't change. Downloading all of those files takes forever. What I've been doing every week is making a copy of last week's files and give it this week's date. I then use FileZilla to download the the 35GB of data but only for files with a newer file date. This process only takes about an hour as few files need to be downloaded. The problem is that I still have on my home computer any files which were deleted on the server and I'd like to delete them from the home computer. Is there any way to sync the home computer with the server which would delete the files I no longer need on the home computer???

Suggestions on how to do this with FileZilla or any other method are appreciated

Unfortunately no, there's no such functionality.

hmm... I thought you were working on a way to mirror directories (including deleting files that were no longer in the directory?)
At least, I got that impression from the other topic here:viewtopic.php?f=2&t=40090
Or am I misunderstanding the OP topic?
