Support for FXP protocol?

Implementation of the FXP protocol is one of the few things I miss in this wonderful piece of softyware

When can we enjoy of it ?

This has been discussed before in the old forum
(The first: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=1619453 and
the latest: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2381371) + there have been submitted some 4-5 feature requests on this.

In the first post, a guy named Doberman joined the dev team to try to implement FXP support, but I don't know if he ever got to it..

Hopefully botg knows more about what happened.

I would be very difficult to implement FXP into the current version of FileZilla, especially the user interface would never fully support FXP (by using Drag&Drop between instances for example)

However, support for FXP is a planned feature for FileZilla 3, the cross-platform version rewritten from scratch )
