Forget copying URLs... why can't we PASTE them

For years this has bugged me about FileZilla...

Why does the client not provide a mechanism to PASTING a FTP URL? I couldn't begin to count the number of times I have had to paste a URL like ftp://someusername:pv}KT9jz@arbitrary.example.com into an editor... then copy and paste the username, password, and server FQDN.

I've used FZ so blasted long I can't even remember what client I used before it... but if it had one feature that FZ sorely lacked... the ability to paste a URL
