Quickconnect button request

With thanks and admiration for a wonderful application, I would suggest a small user interface change:
Several times, while in a hurry, I have accidentally clicked on "Clear quickconnect bar" or "Clear history" while intending to click a previously-used connection listed in the "Quickconnect" drop-down menu. Thus, my connection history disappears, unintended.
Would it be possible to place the "clear" selections in a separate drop-down from the "history" selections on that toolbar?
