Feature request: tabbed ftp'ing

there is a function i miss:
in cuteftp you can connect to multiple servers and you have a tab for each one.
is it possible to include this function in your very cool ftp client??

it would be very nice...

I would also love to see this, it would be great to have some form of tabbed interface so I don't have to have a bunch of clients open.

A tabbed interface will be implemented in FileZilla 3.

Wonderful, of what I've read so far, version 3 makes me very excited. Thanks for making a very very good client, and for constantly making it better. I'm looking forward to it.

There's so much work to be done for FZ3 and plenty of features remain unfinished. Will still take some time before I'll work on the tabbed browsing.

Will Version 3 also include FTP groups? We have 100 servers that are all setup the same and I want to dump the same file on all 100 so I would love groups. Similiar to the idea of the tabbed FTP sessions but cleaner since I just drop the file and hope for the best that it reaches all 100. I'll worry about issues etc....Just a suggestion/thought for the new version. Sorry if this is the wrong posting location I'm a noob for this application but I love it so far!

this is a rather important feature and it's why i still prefer other ftp clients over filezilla.
i'm sure i'm not the only one and 'tabbed browsing' is (A) in everyones mouth and (B) not new in the gui world.

or do i miss a hidden setting in v3?

and: i'm waiting for this for nearly 5 years.

Instead of waiting 5 years, you could have learned C++ and implemented it yourself by now. Less complaining, more participating. Why do I have to do everything on my own? Do I owe my users anything? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
