i work on a server team for a company looking after linux redhat 7/8/9 servers under ad control for user accounts

i support over 2000 servers with my ad account login.

i think it would be beneficial to have support of variables in site manager for server password, so that i can change my password once in some variables screen, and that would reflect on all 2000+ servers.

its a ballache currently to do this, as my password is enforced to change every month, and so i could theoreticially have to change my password on all 2000+ server profiles in filezilla site manager.

Passwords should be unique per server, it's a very bad idea to share passwords across servers.

for root passwords this might be the case, but as an ad standard user with sudo privledges to app accounts it is a forced change every month to all ad user accounts and this would cover all servers at domain level whether it be idm or windows server ad, so in essence each non root domain user has the same user account password over all servers for a month, then it changes.
in locked down production environments such as ours you can never login over ssh using root password, only to the console in emergency repair cases (for us this is vmware console as we use virtuals).

im asking for this option to make lives easier, im pretty sure people would be happy with it as an extra, and not having to retype the same password again, and again and again

Forced monthly password changes are just as bad as an idea as shared passwords.
