Request: Option for sorting files by type

Major issue for me is not having the option to have files sorted by file type in the directories. My directories can often contain between 100 and 200 files.

Here are two problems when files are not sorted by file type:

1. The lesser issue:

I often don't know the exact name of a particular file I wish to access. When files are sorted by file type, everything is tidy, organized and easy to navigate. I find things quickly.

2. The bigger issue:

I frequently need to do an en-masse transfer of files of a certain type. When files are sorted by name only, rather than by type, it is a drawn out and tedious task.

I always have files "sorted by type" in my Windows directories.

Click the filetype column header in the file list to sort by type.

If you right click the column headers in listings, is "Filetype" selected?
