Feature Request : automatic synchro with remote ftp server

#1 Post by dnaton » 2004-12-15 16:54

Is it possible to have this feature in a next release of Filezilla (Client and/or Server) :

Capability to run Filezilla as service : this service scan every few minute (possible to choice the delay) a local folder and if there is new or modify data, he send this data to the remote ftp server
Thanks,

Damien

I use it from a linux server. It mounts my win hdd and then syncs with an lynux server in the net (or for backup with an other hdd on my system).
Best and fastes way to keep a remote site up to date. But you need ssh access to the remote site. If not ftp :(

rsync on win: as far as i know via Cygwin. (google should be your friend)

RsyncServer you don't need it.
