FZ3: Will FTP-Engine not be GPL ?

I have read in some older posts that the upcoming FTP-Engine can be used for other applications as well. This is great, because currently Curl has no SFTP suppport and wxFTP has not even SSL support and I guess FZ3-Engine will have both. What wil be the license of FZ3 ? Hopefully not GPL.
Btw. does there exist a roadmap / time schedule for FZ3 ? Currently I am just testing every few days or weeks the development snapshots to see how it is going on.

The license will be GPL so that the engine can be used by other applications in a fair way.
