Feature request regarding SSL/TLS

#1 Post by a43 » 2004-03-18 08:42

I would be very very happy to see an option to turn off Secure File Listing and Secure File Transfer when using TLS AUTH. This would ensure compatibility with pure-ftpd and possibly other ftpds aswell, that support TLS AUTH, but not secure file listing, for example. FlashFXP and SmartFTP both can do this, and it's at the moment the only thing that forces me to use anything other than FileZilla for all my FTP needs.

i'd also be glad with this new enhancement (I'm using PureFTPD with TLS AUTH).
FileZilla is a great FTP Client ! Thx

I'm using pure-ftpd with TLS myself also.

FileZilla is great but the option to turn off "secure file listing" & "secure file transfers" is really missing.. so I have to go back to FlashFXP.

Keep up the good work.

I was hoping you'd say that :) I must say that FZ3 looks really really promising, both because of this and because of the cross platform functionality (and ofcourse a lot of other small things). Good luck, I hope we'll see a release soon!
