Hello,
I don't were to put it on the forum, but I have a "nice to have" feature request!
After downloading a file via VIEW/EDIT and editing this file locally, filezilla will ask you during upload via a thick in box to delete local file. It would be great if you good enable this as a default in the preferences.

You mean the "Finish editing and delete local file" box?

The box is called "File has changed", bottom part of this box has a check box: "Finish editing and delete local file"

I meant the checkbox. What you refer to as "box" is a dialog window.

Anyway, that's a developer question. Wait for botg.

Any news on this one ?
I'd really like to have that checkbox checked by default it's quite annoying to open the same files and be asked to discard.
Any method to check it which I didn't notice, can't seem to find anything regarding that into the preferences pane.
