The best solution against spam is a /six-pack of CIDRbuttfish13 wrote:Don't use captcha guys, it sucks major **** , use something like keycapcha , sweetcapcha (not sure if this works for phpbb). People and bots can easily take care of recapcha and regular capcha.
The image based "js" capchas are much harder to crack. But robots become more human every day :/ I got rid of phpbb on my website because I couldn't handle 30,000 spam posts a day, most linking to pron and other "dirty" stuff.
But no, no making people pay to use a forum is going to kill this website :/

Or did you mean cider, if you dropped a six pack of that onto them that would also stop them but what a waste.botg wrote:The best solution against spam is a /six-pack of CIDRbuttfish13 wrote:Don't use captcha guys, it sucks major **** , use something like keycapcha , sweetcapcha (not sure if this works for phpbb).
