My website is not working

#1 Post by Fareez » 2011-12-25 08:43

I contact the domain engineer and this were the answer.
"This happens when you do not have an index.html or an index.php file. If you upload your index file your site will come back online and appear as it should"
Question: How can i do it by myself coz i dont have any idea about this. Please anyone help me.

Please note we do not officially support website stuff like this. These forums are all about FTP.

The index document (the first one your browser should load) must be named index.html (sometimes index.php, exact name and case) and uploaded into the public HTML directory.
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
FTP connection problems? Please read Network Configuration.

I think that you need to read this guide, if you are using FileZilla:
http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Using

Always name the home page of your website as "index.html', "index.php" etc. Check out what other people have replied in the same context
