Dedicated ftp vs Unlimited Hosting
I've been tasked with finding a new ftp hosting service after our last host lost several of our critical files. The problem is that I don't know much about dedicated ftp services. The short list of requirements is ~200GB storage, a web interface (drag and drop a plus), and folder level permissions for 100+ users. To me this all looks like something that can be run off of an "unlimited" hosting plan, but the budget I've been given to work with is ~$250 /month. Is there a real benefit (need) for choosing a dedicated ftp solution that charges $200+ for less than 1TB over choosing an "unlimited" hosting plan with ftp access for ~$15/month?

For USD250/month, you could rent three complete dedicated servers.
