Re: Unable to connect???
I have a strange question.
I downloaded the most recent version of filezilla yesterday.
Installed and connected to my site which is on a shared hosting server.
Everything worked fine and later on I tried the server IP as instructed on my ISP welcome email. Suddenly I could not connect.
I typed the IP into the browser and I could actually see the website.
Does Filezilla ignore IP's? As far as I can remember it should accept IP's. Or was that changed in the recent versions?

Re: Unable to connect???
FileZilla fully supports IPs. You can enter IPv4 addresses as-is using the decimal dot notation (ex. 192.0.2.224). IPv6 addresses must be enclosed into square brackets because colons are usually used for ip:port separation (ex. [2001:db8:0:f::3]).
