Hi, I am using a joomla template provider to upload a template to my new joomla site and they need my CPanel information so they can carry otu the work for me, I ahve no idea how to get them this information, please can you tell me what they need and where to find it, thanks

I'm not a friend of giving out personal information to strangers, but if you insist, you should:

-change the cPanel login data beforehand to a temporary unique combination,
-contact them over a reasonably secure channel (email is NOT secure) and provide them the login data,
-constantly check and verify their actions,
-change the login data back after work is done.

Never give out your original login data!

Hey Casper

They need:
Your ip-adress or FTP name (ftp.example.com)
and you can make an additional FTP-user (Username and password).
You can delete the additional FTP-user after they have made the implementation.
