Hello, first post "not-so-off-topic" !


I wonder if some language specific forums would be interesting in Support category.

There's many support requests from people who can't read or write english enough.

May be it could also be mixed in the same Support forum ?

What do you prefer ? All messages in Support or Language-specific Support forum ?

Also, I think add more languages in phpBB will help non-english people to use this forum, as they could choose their own language in their profil.

Adding more languages to phpBB is easy, there are plenty of language files available.

Language specific support forums would be useful, though I need moderators for them. I guess you would happily apply yourself as French support forum mod?

I would not spent alot of time on it unless the forums get really popular all of a sudden.

Otherwise just do as botg suggests.

OK for the languages of phpBB itself.

For the french moderator, well, I'm already very busy with the forum of another project (Free-EOS), so I can't be sure to be the most verbose here, but let's start as mod and see how it work.
Anyway, it will be better than so many emails

Can you add aa pt_br interface botg ? its nice to had an overall inteface in my native languege, i know that will not translate the intere forum but it is an start

PS: translate the entire forum isn´t good, when this hapen i can´t train my english very well !
