You may want to upgrade this forum software to the newest phpBB Release Candidate (7) of version 3.

I've been an Admin on several version 2 phpBB boards and am converting them slowly to version 3. True, vers 3 is not FINAL, but I think you'll find the latest RC 7 to be stable. You'll love the powerful Admin features.

This is entirely botg's decision.

phpBB2 will be still supported indefinitely, and this forum has all it needs.
