Unsorted Certificate Chain

I got an error message that read: Server sent unsorted certificate chain in violation of the TLS specifications.
What does this mean? or better yet, How do I correct it?

The TLS specifications require that certificate chains are sorted. Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider to have the server fixed.

You might start with "reading". Especially @botg's post above yours.
