425 Can't open data connection.
Hello All,
Well looks like I can now get in with SSl on Port 990, but once I'm in I get the following error, any ideas?
10:30:59 Response: 200 Type set to I.
10:30:59 Command: PORT 10,160,75,46,199,14
10:30:59 Response: 200 Command okay.
10:30:59 Command: LIST
10:30:59 Response: 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list.
10:31:20 Response: 425 Can't open data connection.
10:31:20 Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Connection timed out - Failed to retrieve directory listing
Can anyone please point me to how to fix this, I can at least log in now, I created a new user and this is what I get.

Switch Client to Passive Mode, try again. Alternatively, read the Active Mode chapter of the guide botg linked above.

I had the same trouble after I setup my FileZilla FTP server. I recently found out what the problem was. I was trying to access my installs folder from a clients machine to apply a patch. I kept getting this error, changed the client to work on "Active Mode", clicked "connect", then the Windows Firewall popped up asking to allow the FileZilla Client through the firewall. After allowing firewall access, I've not had any trouble what-so-ever! I hope if you haven't already resolved the issue that this will help.

Please do not perform thread necromancy.
Having the same problem = using the same version of FileZilla as the topic creator = using a nowadays heavily outdated version of FileZilla = not supported anymore.
