Stopping the server quickly and easily - please help

Hi people! Just a quick question.

I'm using the filezilla server to host many important files from home so I can access them at college.

I'm gonna develop an app in VB to remotely shutdown the server when executed. I'm so paranoid of possible break in attempts... so if I get suspicious, I can simply shut it down and change the pass when I get home.

Are there any command line switches of any sort to stop the server?

It's ok, I done it
