Adding file locations to be seen

#1 Post by briane3318 » 2009-06-23 08:17

I have about 7 HDDs and when i setup server i only put one drive as the one to be seen. Now i have 6 other drives that i can't access. I've gone to the edit/users and added the drives but every time i access my server i can only see the 1 and not the 6 others, even though i told it to be available.
I've also added users and made the other users get different drives other then the one first used and it still pulls only the first drive and thats not even on the list that its supposed to have.

what do i do to make more drives be seen when i access my server???

Thanks

i read that who page and it still didn't tell me why "i access my server i can only see the 1 and not the 6 others, even though i told it to be available. " its not showing the other drives when they are listed with my home dir. i can only see my home dir and i need everything else but i have 4.5TB that i have to have avail and i can only access 1TB.
Where and what can i put in cmd promt to make my server show what i want?

Quoting chapter 7:
7. How do aliases work?
How can I share multiple drives?
Let's assume you have two shared folders: c:\ftproot is your homedir and d:\myfiles is the second one. In order to display an alias to d:\myfiles in your homedir, add /myalias as alias in the second column to the right of d:\myfiles. A new folder with the name myalias will appear in your homedir with the contents of d:\myfiles
You must assign an alias to every resource that is not your home directory. Once you do that the additional resource will appear as subdirectories.
