Disable autostart of FileZilla Server Interface

#1 Post by hakonrk » 2004-04-16 15:00

I've looked for a function to turn off autostart of the FileZilla Server Interface, but so far the only option has been to reinstall, and choose not to autostart. Why is this only configurable during the installation?

This has been mentioned before:

Oh, and if you're running Win98 this may be easier:

Thanks for the links. Btw, I discovered a third way to do this: Start msconfig and you can enable/disable services and startup programs from there.

Yes, this was explained in the second link - I just forgot that 'msconfig' also existed on WinXP... And maybe also 2000.

Good that you figured it out!

file zillas server software adds itself into services under administration tools inside of control panel (win2k and winxp) you can adjust it there, set it to manual and it should no longer load automatically.
