hi,
i've been using filezilla sever for a while. these days some of my friends, using linux, are encountering problems while connecting to my machine. in fact this is the first time that someone is trying to connect from the linux environment. i tried three different linux machines and three different ftp clients, but the result is the same. is there a way to eliminate this thing?
(i searched the forum but couldn't find any related topic. searched for: linux)
any help is appreciated.

below is what i see on the server side. on the client side, the client just waits, and doees nothing (doesn't list anything). when connected using shell, they see: "Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||1799|)" and just waits. they cannot list it. can it be something related to this /C/ C:\ thing? (/C/ is selected on my machine).

In addition to that you might have to properly configure any router/firewall you're using, this is the single most reason for problems.
