FTP Server slow all of a sudden

I was running a Windows server for a few months, worked around 1500kb/s, now it's locked at 12.8kb/s and no faster when downloading.

The last time I downloaded 1500kb/s was about 2 weeks ago, nothing has changed either. I did try the latest FTP Server version, but no fix. I tried tweaking buffer sizes, no fix.

I also tried a different client on my PC.

Any ideas?

tried rebooting all machines involved, a few times.

I tried different machines, issue is with the FTP server.

the server can download/upload to other FTP servers at 11MB/s

The client computers can download from other FTP servers at 1500kb/s or so (home connection, and fiber at work).

Does it only affect FileZilla Server or also other servers installed on the same machine?

I only have one FTP server on that machine.

bitorrents are cruising off that machine around 1500kb/s. I have downloaded from MS AT about 12.3MB/s..and uploaded to other FTP servers from that box @ 10-12MB/s.

It's an issue with filezilla server software, grrrr.

Did you accidentally set a speed limit?

Nope, I went through the speed limits as well, tried changing them to something liek 4kb/s and it throttled me, but when I go to unlimited, or even 50kb/s I am stuck at 12.8kb/s.

I tried doing a few downloads at the same time, they're all stuck at 12.8kb/s

I'm out of ideas. Only thing I know is that things don't suddenly fail for no apparent reason, something must have changed. If you can find out what has changed, the solution should be trivial.
