Connection problem? "FzSFtp.exe was closed"

#1 Post by nammer » 2004-06-04 03:46

Hi - I'm having problems viewing files via secure connection to an IP; I've enabled PASV mode and my host has verified the port I should be using. This is the error I'm getting
Status: Connecting to 67.18.181.69:25 ...
Trace: FzSFtp.exe: FzSFtp started and initialized.
Trace: SftpControlSocket.cpp(2303): OnConnect(0) caller=0x003ad0e8
Status: Connected with 67.18.181.69:25, initializing SFTP connection...
Command: CONNECT xxxxxx@67.18.181.69:25
Trace: SftpControlSocket.cpp(2585): OnReceive(0) caller=0x003ad0e8
SftpControlSocket.cpp(2585): OnReceive(0) caller=0x003ad0e8
Trace: SftpControlSocket.cpp(2593): OnClose(0) caller=0x003ad0e8
Trace: FzSFtp.exe: Ssh.c(2105): Unknown network error
Trace: SftpControlSocket.cpp(2371): OnClientError(1) caller=0x003ad0e8
Error: FzSFtp.exe was closed, terminating connection.
Obviously, I'm running Debug mode, but I have no idea what I'm seeing here. (Also running WinXP and the latest version of FZ) thanks for any help!

It like either the port or the protocol is not correct, that's not a problem with FileZilla

My host changed the port to 22, and now I get a "cannot retrieve directory listing" error - any chance this could be FileZilla, or is it still more likely to be my host?

Thanks for your help!
