Filezilla Server 0.9 beta - bugs?
I have really enjoyed using the FileZilla "suite" for the last year or so. I recently started hosting a ftp site with FileZilla Server. . .not updated to 0.9. I have noticed a couple issues, on of which is more consistent. When I restart the computer that is hosting the ftp, the default settings are not apply (such as bandwidth limits) until I login and open the settings dialog and apply them. I really think that the settings should be applied when the service starts up.
The other is harder to pinpoint. After a day or two of running, the bandwidth throttling seems to have issues. . .going up and down, etc. Then, all transfer just stops. When I tried to de-activate the server and reactivate, it doesn't do anything. I tried to restart the FileZilla Server service and it fails to stop. . .or start. . .so I end up having to restart the computer.
Oh, yeah, just another little interface bug I noticed. When setting the throttling settings, you can edit each scheduled line after you set it by double clicking on it. . .until you apply the settings. When you come back in to attempt to change them you get "the parameter is incorrect" so you have to create a new one and delete the old one.
Thanks for the great ftp software. . .

Thanks for the quick response. I noticed you already posted a fix to the code for the speed limit error message. I was just in the bug reports section of the sourceforge project page to browse the reported bugs (because the server locked on me again this morning) and see that someone else had reported this speed limit edit issue as well (930952).
I also noticed the the server freezing problem was reported as well a couple days ago as request 971424.
Thanks again for the quick response, I hope I am not duplicating information too much by posting here instead of trying to add to those bug reports.
Also, I noticed two typos in my previous post, one which definitely changes the meaning. I said, not updated to 0.90, but I meant, NOW updated to 0.90 (it is running 0.90, but I had the same issues with 0.89)
Update: just talked to the person who was uploading when the server froze, he said his network had a glitch at around the same time the server froze.

Thanks. I see you fixed some sort of locking thread and the utc problem. It took a bit for me to figure that out, but it is working fine this way now. . .of course it would be much easier to work with local times.
The server locked up again on me today. this time two uploads, two downloads. Both speeds all of a sudden drop to zero. . .and can't restart service. . .unfortunately, it always seems to be happening after the other sending side of the connection has gone to bed. . .

Crashed on me again. Confirmed that processor was not 100%. . .
