directory listing

#1 Post by fool » 2007-08-13 08:01

win2000 - filezilla server

i'm trying to hide all files in a directory, but still allow uploadng.

The idea is to have an account for uploading only.
No list or +sub lists.

Although the options are there, am I missing somthing with the permissions? or options?

i'm sure it's me.
thanks!

I don't think you can hide files.
You can prevent users to download them and to see subdirs. I don't see any options to hide files.

List MUST be given or the directory is neither visible nor accessible. Without List, FileZilla Server pretends it isn't there.
The other permissions should be self-explaining. Note that setting permissions is only possible for whole directories, but not single files.
