#1 Post by skylive » 2006-07-31 12:29

hi! I would just like to enquire about 2 things. Firstly, Why is it that I can connect to my home server, yet I cannot see the files? (Log file below)

So What is the problem? At first, I was unable to even connect to my server because of windows firewall, but I have allowed port 21 as well as ftp servers to pass through the firewall. Now, I am able to see the directory listing.... any reasons? could it be because of the passive mode?
My computer needs the proxy: xxxxxx port: 8080 and it goes through a DSL modem. (brand name: 2WIRE). My home dir, is my C drive and my other directory leads to me second hardrive.

Also, how can I add/delete users by my laptop. without binding its IP address? or is it a must to bind my laptop's IP?
