Hi I have installed Filezilla on a Win2k SP4 pc. The pc is behind a DLS-502T router.
I have entered the external IP address in Passive Mode settings. I have used a custom port range of 5000 to 15300 which have also been opened on the router.
Is there something that I have missed as I can't connect to the server via the internet?
Thanks

Are you sure that the client your using will get through.
I've got FZ running on my home computer and so far I've only found one client that will actually connect and retreive the folder list etc.
I don't pull much from the house so I'm OK with being tied to that one client.

Running Win2k which doesn't have firewall.
I have tried both I.E and Filezilla client to connect using external I.P without success. I can connect fine if I use the internal I.P.

Using external address to connect from inside is often futile. Just use internal if you connect from within your local network.
