Reconnecting while the file uploads

Bit of a stupid question really, but i just need to know.

While uploading a file to a site, if i get disconnected from the server and it retrys to connect (and succeeds), have i lost any kilobytes from my file upload?

Reason i ask this dumb thing is, when its waiting to connect, my file transfer is still showing the file uploading, even though it aint connected.
Then when the upload has finished it still shows the correct MB the file oringinally had.
Is there a safety storage method the program uses for cases where you might get disconnected without you losing file information.

No. FileZilla uses additional connections to transfer files so that you can still browse the server meanwhile. Only the connection you used to browse the server got disconnected.
