Using u: > 550 permission denied

#1 Post by Klimaks » 2004-06-23 08:56

I've made a group with read, list, rights on c:\ftproot\:u I also set this directory as homedir and let fzs autocreate dirs. Then I make a user which I make a member of that group.

But that user cannot login. He directs to the correct dir, (c:\ftproot\username), but he gets a permission denied. Should I give each user seperately rights to their folder :?

Hrm, problem solved. Just started all over again and now it works ?

I think I've found out what the problem is. Users should not have capitals in their name or it will not work.
