Using Server in root dirs
Seems windows has some hidden folders in it's root dirs. like the recycle bin and the system info folder. Am wondering if there is a way to not let users see these folders ?
Moving the content into other folders is not an option, since several other softwares relay on that location.
Thanks for any reply.

Open a folder (any folder). Go to Tools/Folder Options/View.
Look for the Command "Hidden Files and Folders" and click which ever option you prefer (Show hidden files and folders OR Do not show hidden files or folders). If you scroll further down the dialog box, you'll see some more options for "hiding protected operating system files". Tick this as well.

i have the same problem, some other ftp servers have the feature to hide these files...
Re: Using Server in root dirs
Sadly i cannot move the files, as the would interfer with the file structure that another program uses.
A feature that would be really cool, was to have an access file with permissions in it, located optionally, in each share.
Inside this file you could specify additionally access parameters for files and folders located in that folder. something like a .htaccess file on a webserver.
Still i hope someday to see a feature allowing you to share a folder and all subfolders, but to comment some folders out for some users and some for others.
thx for your time
