FZS interface disconnecting after some minutes

#1 Post by mf_2 » 2004-07-19 13:50

Hello,

I have a problem. I'm running fzs 0.9.1b and the interface of the server disconnects itself after some minutes. Then I have to reconnect manually. If I try reconnecting within the first 10 minutes after the connection was lost I get an error that the interface can't connect.
So I tried today upgrading to fzs 0.9.2, but when trying to install it just extracts the server.exe and tries to stop the service but it doesn't come beyond that. What's the problem? BTW: I'm running windows server 2003 enterprise.
Thanks in advantage

Sorry this isn't that helpful, but I am experiencing the same thing. And on one of my FZS boxes, the interface never connects on startup -- I always have to connect manually.

Are you using any firewalls or virus scanners? Those usually cause more problems than they solve.

Another, though highly unlikely reason could be that your system time changes often.

I use neither a firewall nor a virus scanner, although I used zonealarm months ago together with filezilla ( i think back then it was version 0.8.7 ) and it worked fine.
My system time doesn't change often either: I disabled internet time update and it's always gmt+1
