extremely long delays adding new folders

Hi, I have filezilla server installed on win2k3 64 bit.

When browsing for a folder to add, it locks up for about five minutes every time I expand a folder.

Obviously adding folders in this way is impractical and I have had to add them manually in the xml file. This means I need to restart the ftp server every time to pick up the changes which is not the way it's supposed to be used.

Can anyone help?

Not a fault of FZS, it just uses a standard directory selector of Windows. Fix your system.

Thanks but in explorer there is a small wait, up to a minute (as there are a lot of files in the directory), but nothing like the wait in the Filezilla browser which can take 10 minutes. Is it because I'm running 32 bit filezilla server on 64 bit windows and it has to translate system calls or something? Just guessing.
