this is a mess.... v. trying to figure out configuration

basically, i need to set up A user for access to a single folder using IE with only up/down permissions
then, i need to set up another user that will be required to use a secure ftp client and given all but delete permissions

creating users and folders and permissions isn't the question though, i got that part

what i need to understand is HOW to set it up so that user A can only use ie to connect and user B can only use secure connection



documentation on how-to is sorely lacking
