Adding a combination of local and network resources

#1 Post by Stuperfied » 2016-07-05 17:09

Trying to add both local and network resources for a user.

Ok, so you wouldn't expect it but I actually did follow the instructions in the sticky thread.

Mapped local resources only as:
C:\Program Files\Servers
Read, List, List Subs

Connected using a client and the directory listed fine.

Now as is stated somewhere in there, the normal user FileZilla uses is System, which does not have access to networks. So as instructed, I created a new user as an administrator.
Also following the instructions in the sticky, I went into the FileZilla Service and added the new administrator username and password to the logon section.
Restarted the PC

Tried once again to connect with the client and got:
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is current directory.
Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
Command: PASV
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Status: Disconnected from server
Status: Connecting to ***.***.**.**:21... <-- you didnt think i'd actually show it did you? ;P
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is current directory.
Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
Command: PASV
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Im using windows 7, any ideas?

Please read Network Configuration and configure firewall and router. Something blocks data connections.
No support requests over PM! You will NOT get any reply!!!
