Howdy,
I have a client that is running FileZilla Server version 0.9.41 beta and they are running it on a 10 year old Pentium 4 PC. It is passed time for this server to be upgraded. How can I move this to a new box (and a new version of FileZilla) while keeping all of the users, groups, and settings in place?
I found a post from 2009 that said I just need to move the filezilla-server.xml to the new box and restart the FTP service and run a "filezilla server.exe" /reload-config....is this still the valid way of moving a server to new hardware? and will my settings from this extremely old beta version work with the newest version?
Thanks in advance

Re: Need Help Moving FileZilla Server
The used hardware doesn't matter.
Generally newer versions can read settings by older versions just fine with everything being preserved. Exceptions to this are noted in the version history.
