How do you deal with login attempts that have been going on for over 24 hours, every 5 minutes? The problem is although Auotban is set, the IP changes ever attempt using the same username, but running through various combos of passwords. 99% of the IP's are the Ukraine and Russian Federation. Which we had country blockers.
What would you recommended, we have yet to set up FTP over TLS and require SSL. Thank you.

I ignore such requests. They do no harm, unless of course you use short, easily guessable passwords.
