Does Filezilla server plan to support SSL and SFTP?
If yes, is there a time line? Can we help? How would
it be coordinated?

SSL support is planned, but I'm not currently working on it, I'm focusing on FileZilla 3.

But anyone else could write SSL support for FileZilla Server, I'll happily accept any patches. Coordination is usually done in #filezilla on irc.freenode.net
