file zilla upload-speed?

#1 Post by antiwodka » 2004-09-29 12:35

My filezilla server is working fine, but when users are downloading something from their accounts on my computer, my uploadspeed is only 6 KB/s and it´s could be 12-15 KB/s.
When I´m downloading or better the users uploading to me something , i´ll get 15 KB/s and we both , the user and me , have the same broadband-parameter.
So how can i get the same uploadspeed? Or is this speed the best i can get ?

thank you

I'm having the same problem, any sugestions.
I thought that maybe fooling with the transfer buffer size would make a difference, what are some values you guys using? help please, I have a lot of large files that I need to serve up
thanks

This kind of problem is with your connection .. not with filezilla...

Hi!

I've maybe the same problem....
When a user is downloading 1 file from my server, my upload speed is only 20 KB/s. (and it should be at least 50 KB/s !). BUT when the same user is downloading 2 files from my server, the speed increases at 40 KB/s.
Why ?

Anyone can help me?

THX :)

(sorry for my english... )

Try to test DL and UL speed on your FTP server, just connect to yourself using same computer as filezilla server, i think there is no problem with FZS, i use limits and it works fine...
2 webmaster: forum takes plenty of time to load, please check server connection, it isn't probably my problem, i have 1.5 Mbit and other sites work fine...
