I have original WHS 1.0 which if memory serves right is based on Server 2000.
The files that are available now throw a error when installing saying I need at least a Vista OS.
Where can I find the older version of FileZilla that would be compatible with WHS 1.0?
TIA,
Mario

Please note that you are completely on your own. There is NO support for any version except the very latest one. Very old versions compatible with 5.x kernels are vastly insecure and riddled with countless bugs and security vulnerabilities. Exactly like the host OS you're using is. You must not use it in any networked environment, anymore.

You MUST NOT use outdated versions of server software due to known vulnerabilities.

Re: Older FileZilla server version needed
Thanks guys for the warning.
I understand the risks.
I have this on LAN only with firewall preventing WAN access.
At some point this will be upgraded to current version -- for now, the WHS 1.0 (1.1?) machine is only turned on to perform weekly backup from QNAP NAS.
I'm using FileZilla_Server-0_9_30.exe located here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/filezi ... %20Server/
I could probably use something more recent, but I went back to release from Jan of 2009 as a safe date of when WHS was in it's prime.
BTW, for some other newbs (like me) that might want more of a guide, I used this article: http://computingondemand.com/filezilla- ... ver-on-whs
or could have used this: http://computingondemand.com/using-qnap ... ws-server/
